It was 2014 when Filipe Pimenta challenged himself to realize an old dream, to bring life to a place almost forgotten in time… He, with his optimism, believed what many thought was foolish and began our story.
In 2015, we opened our door to our first guests, who then introduced us a perfect place for a few relaxing days.
In 2016 we dreamed higher, increased our accomodation capacity and we created an unique wellness area: the heated indoor saltwater pool and a jacuzzi spa.
In 2019, over a breathtaking landscape, we increased our accommodation capacity again, created the saltwater infinity pool and another jacuzzi spa with an innovative chromotherapy system.
The key to our success is to genuinely like what we do and value what really matters: people. None of this would be possible without those who choose Cerquido Village as their refuge.
More than ever, we continue to be inspired by the idyllic scenery of Serra d’Arga, the rhythm and serenity of rural life.
We’re still in love with Ponte de Lima, the oldest town of Portugal – a traditional and cosmopolitan country.
